Re-ment Modern Comfort Kitchen

Recently I had purchased the Modern Comfort Kitchen from www.fan21hk.com and I finally got around to taking pics and video for it!

Kitchen-10

I took away the awful ugly food in the background by covering it with some polka dot paper. Granted, it looks a bit weird with everything, including the fridge, having dots in the background, but oh well. Maybe I’ll decide to fix that later, who knows. I’m pretty happy with how it came out and I just love this kitchen! The dishwasher is a bit weird, it’s a just a big basket, but that’s ok. I love the sink area and I made a little towel to hang on the little rack ^.^ How adorbs. I used several different Re-ments to fill it all up (there were still quite a few empty shelves – guess I need more Re-ments! LOL) including the Rilakkumart, Happy Natural Time, Tamago Egg Series, and the Chocolate Cafe.

Now all I need are the Rilakkuma Gohan and the Rilakkuma Hokkori re-ments for the toaster and toaster oven ^.^

(Hubby’s) Contest Winnings! + Re-ment Kitchen

A little while ago Ariel over at Rilakkuma Desu had an amazing giveaway that I entered and I asked my husband to enter it for me (so I could have better chances of winning, of course, hehe). Well, turns out he WON…and then changed his mind about giving me the prizes LOL. That’s what I get for turning my hubs on to Rilakkuma. We got the prizes and he agreed to give me everything but the plush (which I already had anyway so I didn’t pitch a fit) and a few other small things (including the Kori plastic figure which I really wanted…but oh well lol) so I guess it was a win-win! Thank you Ariel!!!!!

IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

WP_20131126_18_38_32_Pro

I’ve been wanting a Re-ment kitchen for a long time, so when I saw this set for a STEAL at Fan21HK I HAD to get it and proceeded to freak out. The oven even makes a sound (which scared the living crap out of my husband when he picked up the package for me)! The cardboard cartoon backgrounds are kinda really ugly so I’ll definitely be replacing them, but I’m totally happy with this set! It came with four (huge) pieces including the dishwasher, oven, sink, fridge and lots of storage room! I apologize for the crappy photos but I was so excited! The red of the kitchen matches the Tamago Rilakkuma Re-ment perfectly and the Rilakkumart Re-ment provided most of the fun kitchen items like soap, sponge, paper towels and tons of food. I’m SO EXCITED to get this set put together and admire the tiny kitchen…

Happy Natural Time Rilakkuma Matchbox + Pouch

I used to be very heavily active in the online trading community, Swap-bot, and matchboxes were very popular! All you do is decorate the matchbox and then fill it with goodies! I made a 250 count matchbox (the bigger one) for my friend Chelsie on Youtube and I since we both love the new Rilakkuma series Happy Natural Time I decided to go with it as a theme! I love how it turned out!

matchbox1

I used this awesome ribbon set I had gotten at Michaels and it had all the fun teal ribbon and it was I think a dollar which was AMAZING! Anyways, I drew the same kind of pattern that in on the stationery for this series. I recreated the cook book from the re-ment for the top (it’s a smaller matchbox) and I filled it with a little deer cookie and a muffin I made using a piece from the re-ment as well.

I filled it with this super cute deer charm from Michaels, some deco tape, a handmade tart (I show it in the video below, for some reason i didn’t take a picture), some buttons of the series and other fun items for her. It was fun filling it with items that fit the theme!

pouch

Lastly I made this little zipper pouch. I used the wallpaper from the San-x website and printed on printable fabric to make it. I should have set the ink before sewing because the ink smeared and got faded 🙁 I remember to do that next time. Overall I’m happy with how it turned out!

Here is the video showing everything in more detail:

Poor, blind, Kiiroitori.

So I think I’m like, the last person ever to get this set of plushes but OMG SO CUTE!!!! I’m super excited to have this set, it’s so super adorable and I love their little costumes! I remember the first time I saw pictures of this plush I literally busted out laughing at poor little Kiiroitori! He can’t see! Hahahhah! How hilarious.

Also included in the picture is the Rilakkuma wizard plush I recently got! I love him!

I didn’t get a good pic of the front cause I kind of forgot, but the back is super pretty!

Here is the video:

Happy Hollyween!

Hello! Happy Halloween or as I like to say, Hollyween!

HOLLYWEEN

My work has a costume contest every year, so this year I went as Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck it Ralph!

I even made the cookie medal!

It was really fun to make and although it’s not 100% completely accurate I think it came out really well!

I also uploaded a fun tutorial for Halloween, a Wizard’s Brew Yogurt charm! Enjoy!

Rilakkuma My Deer!

I am very, VERY excited for the new Rilakkuma series that was announced and I about PEED my pants when I saw the new Re-ment from the series:

Isn’t it soooo adorable?!!? I’m dying. I love the homey, cozy feeling it has and of course any set with pastries I’m game. I adore the tart (I’m so going to make a clay version), the teapot (I am obsessed with teapots) and the kettle! Even the little cardboard kitchen that will come with the box is super adorable. I am definitely ordering this set as soon as it comes out in October.

I’ve already pre-ordered my Rilakkuma deer plush from Miraplush and I can’t wait to get it!

I need to get all the stationery for this series too! So cute!

Rilakkuma Birthday Party

In the last couple of years I have become greatly interested in party decor, especially the kind you make yourself. I love dessert tables and Amy Atlas  is my new hero! I decided for my 25th birthday I would do something special, so I created a Rilakkuma themed birthday party! It was a lot of fun to create and I hope to do more in the future. I made a video about the party on my Youtube where you can also download the printables .pdf for free!!

Plush Shelf

Holy plush shelf.

Plush Shelf

Today we went to IKEA to get me another shelf for our tiny office that we share so I spent the whole day reorganizing my plushes. I wanted them all to be on ONE shelf so I could stare at their beauty. I really like how everything turned out, I even have a bit of room to grow! To make the two rows of plushes I just used my Re-ment boxes as little risers for the second row of plushes to stand on. I find storing plushes a bit hard as you want to see all of them at one time. I think this system works well.

I think my dream though is to one day have a whole house of these guys:

This would be my ideal bookcase for plushes – they have glass doors for each section to keep them safe and cozy.

They are called Lawyer’s bookcases and each shelf has it’s own glass door for protecting the plushes. I think it’s perfect ^.^ How do you store your plushes?
